Blockchain company Metajuice, a subsidiary of Together Labs, on Tuesday said it will launch its NFT marketplace in the IMVU metaverse – a social network focused on avatars – having more than one million daily active users. MetaJuice has partnered with the creators of IMVU for the world’s premier collection of NFT wearable clothing, harnessing the power of the existing IMVU community.
“The NFT marketplace will unlock new functionality that users love, providing 200,000 creators more ways to earn. Introducing disadvantages, proof of ownership, and additional benefits to virtual goods will boost IMVU’s economy,” said Daren Tsui, CEO of Together Labs, parent company IMVU.
In the first phase of the launch, IMVU users will be able to wear and display NFT in the metaverse.
And, if the user chooses, when using NFT in a room or experience, the user will have a special “badge” and color the name in the room and in the conversation.
Other users will be able to view and click on their avatar and find information and metadata about NFT that make them look special.
“IMVU users have long been buying millions of dollars a month in digital goods,” said John Burris, President of MetaJuice. . “
To launch NFT Marketplace, IMVU partnered with original luxury fashion house metaverse Auroboros to tackle the design challenge. The challenge is to create a couture digital design using symbols and beautiful textures inspired by nature, created by Auroboros.
The design will be converted into a digital and NFT wearable device to be displayed and sold at the IMVU NFT Marketplace and the creators will receive a portion of the sales as part of the gift package.
