Not everyone remembers The last time I carried an HTC smartphone, Samsung, Google, OnePlus because the brand is overshadowed. However, HTC plans an interesting return to the smartphone market with the new mobile phone set announced on June 28th.
HTC shared a tweet on Thursday, June 9th, teasing a new Metaverse-only phone, specifically HTC’s own “Viverse.” The official teaser poster shows the shape of a phone with a ring that extends further back from the screen like an eternal mirror.
Except for the announcement date, there isn’t much information to go on. As mentioned above, what’s really interesting is the obvious metaverse connection of the phone. HTC announced the Viverse brand in March 2022 as a way to market Metaverse’s ambitions.Many of the Metaverse conversations Revolves around Facebook’s parent company Meta, HTC clearly wants its own slice of Metaverse Spy. And, obviously, part of that mission includes the launch of the Metaverse smartphone.

A few years ago, long before “Metaverse” became the buzzword of today, HTC HTC Exodus When HTC Exodus 1s.. As part of the first smartphone to support blockchain technology, each version was designed as a digital wallet with Bitcoin and other forms of cryptocurrencies. Not surprisingly, the niche focus of building smartphones around cryptocurrencies has never really succeeded.
Now that the Metaverse is imminent, for better or for worse, HTC wants to give another shot to its high smartphone ambitions. HTC’s Metaverse phone was scheduled to debut in April, but due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Taiwan, HTC has postponed its release.
