According to local media reporta 30-year-old man lied about his age and met an underage victim on a South Korean metaverse platform. He used his avatar and gifts to attract victims.
After that, from December last year to March this year, the victims were invited to take pictures and videos of the bodies and sent them.
In addition to the prison sentence, the offender was ordered by the court to participate in an 80-hour treatment program for sex offenders. Banned for 7 years.
