Foreign cryptocurrency mining farm found in Uzbekistan
AKIPRESS.COM -The Uzbekistan National Security Agency has discovered an underground cryptocurrency mining farm that has mined cryptocurrencies for $ 7.7 million since August 2020.
UzA reported that the farm provided incorrect information in a power supply contract with a district grid company to reduce power consumption payments.

A foreign company registered in Tashkent rented a building from a local company for two years and set up a mining farm there using 1,491 mining equipment sets and 9,280 video cards.
Management of local and foreign companies has specified incorrect information in their contracts for connecting to the power grid. They said a rabbit farm would be built.
Cryptocurrency mining firms bought large amounts of electricity at low prices, causing serious damage to the state’s profits. A criminal investigation has begun.
