OpenSea deletes another NFT collection without warning. This time is ArtCats NFT. This is a project to support stray animals by providing food, medical care and shelter construction. Art Cats yesterday announced its removal from the OpenSea Marketplace.
Why did OpenSea exclude ArtCats NFT?
Through a tweet, Art Cats NFT revealed that the collection wasn’t found in OpenSea, and the platform seems to have ruled it out. According to their post, I haven’t received an email from OpenSea about the removal, so I’m confused as to why it happened.
The NFT project says it contacted the Opensea support team when the collection was still online. They will ask them to validate their accounts and collections. However, OpenSea rejected their request because the project has not yet reached the 100 ETH trading volume requirement.
Apart from emails from High seas Regarding validation, they claimed they had not received a message from the NFT Marketplace. In addition, they said OpenSea deleted the collection without notice.
At the end of the post, Art Cats reassured the owner that he had already submitted a request to OpenSea to resolve the issue.
OpenSea strike again
The delisting of NFT projects by OpenSea without notice is a foul for NFT creators. last week, It delisted Godzilla with a fake online letter.. Now that Art Cats has been removed and this is the only charity-based music NFT, its owners are upset.
The number one NFT marketplace needs to do something about it. For example, warn the NFT project before dropping it on the platform.
