CNN Markets CNN + Streaming Debut as the company’s “historic moment” by selling the first few seconds of the first live stream as a set. NFTCNN + Chief Andrew Morse said Wednesday.
250 NFTs feature the first 29 seconds of the first episode of Five things with Kate BolduanCNN +’s daily morning show, which marked the start of its streaming service debut on Tuesday.
NFTs can be purchased from 10:00 am (Pacific Standard Time) on March 30th in the following ways: Vault by CNNanother NFT A marketplace that sells digital collections of key moments in CNN’s history, including footage of Ted Turner, who launched CNN in 1980. At launch, each NFT featuring the first moments of Bolduan’s live show will sell for $ 50 each. Users do not need to use crypto to buy tokens.
“CNN +’s debut is a historic moment for CNN,” CNN’s evp and chief digital officer, Morse, said in a statement. “We are excited to open the curtain on this new platform. Having access to CNN +’s first live moments as an NFT is a great way to celebrate our launch with digital collectors.”
CNN + debuted on March 29th with daily shows such as Chris Wallace, Kasie Hunt, Wolf Blitzer, Brian Stelter and Sara Sidner. Other programs on the weekly schedule include new shows from Anderson Cooper, Poppy Harlow, Jake Tapper, Don Lemon, Rex Chapman, and Scott Galloway. Upcoming shows, scheduled for release in May, will include programs hosted by Audi Cornish, Yemelhill, and Cali Champion.
