Investment giant Fidelity will be making its forays into the Metaverse as its latest effort in developing web3 to delight Metaverse users.
The company has filed three trademark applications in the US covering a number of web3 products and services, including virtual real estate investments, cryptocurrency trading, and NFT marketplaces. The investment giant’s latest move has users eagerly awaiting its offering in the Metaverse.
by filing, the company is also exploring investment services for mutual and retirement funds in the Metaverse. Another area is the provision of educational services and multiple conferences on digital reality platforms.

Fidelity Investments’ crypto efforts this year have been impressive despite heavy criticism from some legislators over the recent crypto offering and market downturn. In April, the company announced plans to allow businesses and their employees to access Bitcoin (BTC) in their 401(k) retirement accounts.
The investment firm also launched Fidelity Crypto, a service that allows retail investors to trade Ethereum (ETH) and BTC from their mobile phones for free. In October, the company expanded its digital assets division by hiring 100 employees instead of laying off staff at other top companies.
