Fitness studio based in New York and Los Angeles Dogg pound Today we are announcing an NFT release with our charitable partners Seva.Love, Community of Unity and NFT Classroom. As a result of this collaboration, NFTs created by digital artist Yovanna Ventura will be auctioned. High seas May 31, 2022. A one-on-one NFT will be the protagonist of this auction, with numerous IRL benefits for sale. The second NFT will be published in 22 publicly available editions. All profits from the OpenSea auction will be donated to the Educational Nonprofit Community of Unity to support collaboration with Dogpound within the New York City school system.
Dogpound has been working with non-profit partners for over five years to support New York City’s New Design High School. The school’s fitness brand efforts for students include gym refurbishment, free fitness training sessions, and ongoing contributions to student-centric fundraising events. The brand totals its contributions to New Design High School to date within seven digits.
Their funding and student service efforts have expanded into the digital realm, and the funding will now also support mentorship on web3. Mentorship is offered in the form of weekly classes, staffed by NFTclassroom.org and additionally funded by Deepak Chopra’s wellness in the metaverse organization, Seva.Love. The web3 mentorship session with students, which began in early 2022, and the next NFT release will be the first NFT project to raise funds for the program.
The new NFT collection, launched on May 31st at OpenSea, will be titled Puppy Love, created by artist Wes Henry, who trades over 600 ETH on OpenSea. One-on-one NFTs start bidding at 1 ETH, and the 22nd edition of the second NFT starts bidding at .22 ETH. Winners are Seva.Love’s private, including a face-to-face workout with Ventura and Doggound founder Kirkmayers in Los Angeles, invitations to virtual and IRL pop-up events, and a monthly group mentor meeting with Deepak Chopra. To continue this work at NFT-as-philanthropy, Dogpound and Seva.Love, we are hiring students from the New Design High School to work with renowned NFT artists on bespoke NFT projects. The brand also said, “This pilot high school program has been extended to be offered at other New York City high schools, and then will be offered more broadly, locally and internationally, both through face-to-face and virtual curriculum programming.” It states.
