Record-breaking former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly commemorates his time in space through art.
Kelly spent 340 days in a row International Space Station In 2015 and 2016, he launched his first NFT, an art project called “Dreams Out of This World”. Just as the iconic book inspired him long ago, he wants the offering to inspire people to reach for the stars.
“My story is not a typical astronaut story. I was a bad student who grew up — it didn’t work at school. I’m a kind of daydreamer,” Kelly told Space.com.

NFT A (non-fungible token) is a piece of data stored in a digital ledger called a blockchain that represents a unique asset. NFTs are part of a new digital world known as the Metaverse, and Kelly hopes that “dreams from this world” will help people introduce this somewhat confusing new territory.

The “Dreams Out of This World” drop is a collaboration with content creation studio Orange Comet.
