Los Angeles-based label Renowned is entering the Metaverse with a new next-generation creative studio, The Auracles, and an exclusive streetwear NFT created by Chris Brown.
Launched in May, the project spans media, collectibles and entertainment, and partners have created The Aurora, a superhero character that changes shape as it moves over time to impact the world. Anyone who has created an NFT on the Ethereum Network and the original marketplace will be able to receive Auracles clothing. Some other styles include a very rare blue kimono that can be redeemed for ownership by the buyer if the character is wearing it.
“As a culture, we are investing [Takashi] Murakami, Kaws, and hype cultural items, and Chris are collectors of Supreme and Be @ rbrick, “said renowned founder John Dean. “We help to consume and disseminate this culture, but we don’t often benefit from the culture we create.”
Dean and Brown also create a real collection of 11 styles in multiple colorways. Dean created the first piece everyone would receive, a vintage washed T-shirt with the Auroras logo, and the rest of the collection.
Additional elements include custom swords, oracle figurines, and famous discount codes.
Partners used NFT media and community brand Black NFT Art, which empowers blacks in NFT spaces, to give 111 free oracles to people who have never owned an NFT before.
“Black NFT Art is a group of people who have come together to make black art a top priority and be recognized by new technologies,” Dean said. “We are introducing to join some skeptical people in NFT for free. Normally, you need to get coins to join the game. Empower people and take their risks. I think it’s really important to get rid of it. We provide education on wallets and how to keep them safe, saying: “It’s your choice.” It’s all about that education and It’s about building. “
Famous for sale in 18 stores in North America, Europe and Asia, including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Selfridges. The brand is apparel with Unknwn, and Angela Davis.
This year, Brown will release his 10th studio album “Breezy”, centered on two singles “Iffy” and “WE (Warm Embrace)”.
“We want to make this up. Fashion, including comics and collectibles, is at the forefront of how we do this,” Dean said.
