Beginning January 1, 2023, Uzbekistan residents will only be able to buy and sell cryptocurrencies on local exchanges. This exchange needs to verify the identity of the user through the process of knowing the customer and store data about all transactions for 5 years. Cryptographic service providers are not allowed to facilitate transactions with the term “anonymous crypto assets” which is not described in the documentation.
